Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 2, 2026 · Last updated: August 2, 2026
1. Who we are
DLRPos is a payment platform for United States auto dealerships, operated by See No Fees LLC ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains how we handle personal information in connection with the DLRPos platform and this website.
2. Two different roles
Most of the personal information that passes through DLRPos does not belong to us, and it matters which role we are in:
| Role | What it covers |
|---|---|
| We are the business | Information about the dealerships that buy DLRPos and the staff who use it — account and contact details, login credentials, and usage records. We decide how this is used. |
| We are the service provider | Information about a dealership's own customers — the vehicle owner's name, phone number, email, repair order, and payment record. The dealership decides what is collected and why; we process it on their instructions in order to provide the service. If you are a dealership customer and want your information corrected or deleted, contact the dealership you did business with, or contact us and we will route your request to them. |
3. Information we collect
From dealerships and their staff
- Business name, address, and contact details
- User names, email addresses, roles, and permissions
- Authentication data (passwords are stored only as salted hashes)
- Configuration such as locations, workstations, and payment terminals
- Activity and audit records showing which user performed which action, and when
About a dealership's customers, on the dealership's behalf
- Name, mobile phone number, and email address as provided to the dealership
- Vehicle and repair order details, including amounts owed and paid
- Payment records — amount, date, result, and the last four digits of the card
- Text messaging consent: whether consent was given, which employee recorded it, and when
From this website
Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and diagnostics. This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
We do not store full card numbers. Card details are entered directly into fields hosted by the payment gateway, or captured on the payment terminal. We receive only a token, the result, and the last four digits.
4. How we use information
- To provide the platform: look up repair orders, take payments, and issue receipts
- To send a customer a payment link or a receipt, when the dealership asks us to and the customer has agreed to receive it
- To post payments back to the dealership's DMS
- To authenticate users, enforce permissions, and keep an audit trail
- To provide support, investigate problems, and prevent fraud and abuse
- To meet legal, tax, and payment network obligations
We do not use dealership customer information for our own marketing, and we do not sell personal information.
5. Mobile information and text messaging consent
No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, and are excluded from every category of information sharing described in this policy.
A mobile phone number is used only to send the specific message the customer agreed to receive from the dealership they are doing business with: a secure link to pay an open balance, and — if they ask for one — a receipt for that payment. There are no marketing texts, recurring campaigns, or reminder sequences.
Consent is asked for separately, is never part of a repair order or any other agreement, and is never a condition of any purchase or service. Full details, including how to opt out, are in our SMS Terms & Conditions.
We keep a record of each consent — the number, the employee who recorded it, and the timestamp — so that any individual message can be traced back to the consent that authorized it. Numbers that reply STOP are blocked from further messages.
6. When we share information
We share personal information only in these circumstances:
| Who | Why |
|---|---|
| The dealership you transacted with | It is their customer record; they are the business you paid. |
| Payment gateways and processors | To authorize and settle the card payment. |
| The dealership's DMS provider | To look up the repair order and post the payment back to it. |
| Communications providers | To deliver the message the customer asked for — an SMS provider for texts, an email provider for emails. They act on our instructions and may not use the information for their own purposes. |
| Hosting and infrastructure providers | To run and secure the service. |
| Legal and safety | Where required by law, subpoena, or regulation, or to protect our rights, users, or the public. |
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own advertising or marketing. If the business is ever sold or reorganized, personal information may transfer as part of that transaction, and this policy — including the mobile information provisions above — continues to apply to it.
7. Security
Access to the platform requires authentication, and permissions limit each user to their own dealership's data. Traffic is encrypted in transit, data is encrypted at rest, passwords are stored only as hashes, and stored payment gateway and DMS credentials are masked in the interface and in our API responses. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep access to personal information limited to those who need it.
8. How long we keep information
Transaction and consent records are retained for as long as the dealership's account is active, and afterwards for as long as needed to meet legal, tax, accounting, and payment network requirements — and to answer any later question about a payment or a consent. Dealerships may request deletion of their account data, subject to those obligations.
9. Your choices and rights
- Text messages: reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time, or HELP for assistance.
- Emails: transactional emails such as payment links and receipts are sent only when requested; contact the dealership or us to stop receiving them.
- Access, correction, and deletion: depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of your personal information, correct it, or ask for it to be deleted. Residents of California and other states with similar laws have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Because we usually hold this information on a dealership's behalf, please contact the dealership you did business with, or contact us and we will route your request.
10. Children
DLRPos is a business tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top will change, and material changes will be communicated to dealership account holders.
